Wedding trends are constantly evolving. It’s amazing how we went from structured wedding gowns with puffy sleeves to now free flowing, sheer slip dresses! Wedding trends are now even easier to spot and follow with social media. I’ve spotted a few popular bridal trends this year and I’m sure they’ll continue to grow. Keep reading to find out what’s currently popular in the world of weddings.

Pearls are all the rage right now. Pearl headbands, pearl veils and pearl barrettes. I find accessories embellished with pearls are so timeless. Moving away from the classical string of pearls necklace, many designers are now incorporating this beautiful treasure from the sea into their collection of bridal headpieces, wedding dresses and even shoes. I’ve recently come across some beautiful pearl wedding accessories and items, which I couldn’t help but share.

Alexandra by Harlo Shoes found at The White collection

This wedding shoe is a stunner. I’m in love with the string of pearls which is perfectly paired with silver accents. These shoes comes in white, ivory or nude, meaning there’s definitely a shade to match your wedding dress. They are too beautiful not to show off in photos, so personally I’d wear them with a dress which flows as I walk, or even an ankle length dress. Find these wedding shoes at The White Collection.

Hand beaded pearl veil by Prea James

The pearl embellished veil is becoming a much loved hair accessory. I’ve come across veils which are completely covered in pearls, to those which are slightly scattered. I think this veil by Prea James has the perfect amount of pearl goodness.
